Darielle Oliver was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she then attended Morehouse School of Medicine, receiving her MPH. Darielle has always taken interest in data analytics since an undergraduate student and developed a passion to learn more about infectious and chronic diseases. She currently is a public health analyst in the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases working on the Post Acute Care Team on the Vaccination Unit. She is currently doing research, conducting analyses related to COVID-19 and Influenza Up-to-Date vaccination coverage, managing outreach for annual Influenza data, and acting as a communications liaison for ServiceNow support tickets from users of NHSN application. Prior to her current position she was an ORISE fellow, where she conducted research and did analyses surround Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.

Elizabeth earned a Master of Public Health degree in International Health from Emory University.

Jolie Siegel graduated with a BA in biology and psychology from the state university of New York at Geneseo in 2015. She then went on to do her master’s in public health at Emory University. While there, she worked at CDC as a monitoring and evaluation associate and at Emory as a research associate. After graduating, Jolie moved to LA and worked as a public health associate for CDC. She joined Lantana Consulting Group in 2021 and has worked on NHSN as a public health analyst/health educator since then.

Meagan Ford is an ORISE fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Lidiya Tekele is an ORISE fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She currently works in the Surveillance Branch in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion on the Post-Acute care team, vaccination unit. She has served as a fellow for over 3 years supporting subject matter experts and analysts in the conduct of COVID-19 surveillance through the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). She holds a B.S. in public health from Georgia State University and she will complete her MPH from George Washington University in Summer 2024.

Andrea Benin, MD is the Branch Chief of the Surveillance Branch in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion, National Center for Emerging Zoonotic and Infectious Diseases. In this position, Dr. Benin has a leadership role in the National Healthcare Safety Network, the nation’s largest, most widely used online surveillance system for tracking healthcare-associated infections. Dr. Benin received her A.B. from Dartmouth College and her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. In addition to training in Pediatrics (Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center) and in the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program (Yale University School of Medicine), Dr. Benin completed fellowships and board certification in Pediatric Infectious Diseases (Yale University School of Medicine) and Medical Informatics (Yale University School of Medicine). Dr. Benin is Visiting Faculty at the Yale Center for Medical Informatics, Yale University.

She is a physician and medical epidemiologist trained in general preventive medicine and public health. Since completing the Epidemic Intelligence Service fellowship, she has worked in various centers at CDC informing the design of surveillance data collection to help elucidate the epidemiology of public health events and identify strategies for prevention. In her current role, Dr. Bell established the Post-acute Care Team and provides operational oversight to more than 40 personnel for infection data collection among dialysis patients, long-term care residents, and healthcare personnel. The data collected by this team has directly informed COVID-19 vaccination guidance and emergency response activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Theresa Rowe is currently the Long-Term Care Unit Lead for the Posta Acute Care Team in the Surveillance Branch. In this role she oversees the NHSN LTC Component which encompasses the COVID-19 case data, Healthcare Associated Infection data including urinary tract infections and multi-drug resistant organisms, and prevention process measures. She is a board-certified geriatrician and infectious disease specialist and has clinically worked in a skilled nursing facility for over 10 years. She has experience as a health services and outcomes researcher at Northwestern University prior to coming full time to CDC where her work focused on identifying infections in nursing homes.

Molly Stillions, RN, MSN currently serves as the Long-Term Care Deputy Team Lead for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) Long Term Care component (LTCF) within the Division of Healthcare Quality and Promotion (DHQP), Surveillance Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Molly has been a part of the Long-Term Care (LTC) Team at CDC since 2020 and transitioned into the LTC Deputy role earlier this year. Prior to this role, Molly worked at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as a registered nurse on the Medical and Surgical unit. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Nursing from Augusta University.

Selom Agbobli Nuwoaty is a Data Analyst with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He currently works in the Surveillance Branch in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion on the Long-term care team. In this role, he provides scientific analytic and data management consultation to NHSN surveillance efforts. Prior to the CDC he works as a data management analyst for the Children Oncology Group at the University of Florida. Where he provided data management and statistical analysis on the Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia clinical trials. Mr. Agbobli has over five years in scientific data analysis. He holds a Master of Public Health in biostatics.

Jacques Clerville is an epidemiologist on the Long-term Care Unit Team where he supports CDC’s Post-acute Care Team of the Surveillance Branch as a contractor, within the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion of the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID). He is a former ORISE fellow within the Applied Research Team of the Center for Global Health, Division of Global Health Protection, where he supported global health security research. Prior to working with CDC, he served as an epidemiologist with the Florida Department of Health and research analyst with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. In addition, he provided leadership and managerial oversight for USAID-funded infectious disease activities in Haiti and served as a medical epidemiologist for Haiti’s Ministry of Health. Prior to shifting his career focus to public health, he served the Haitian community as a licensed practicing physician for six years. During the 2010 cholera outbreak in Haiti, Jacques was on the front line of the cholera response, working with Doctors Without Borders as an emergency physician. Jacques Clerville holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Université Notre Dame d’Haïti in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. Prior to his master’s degree, he completed a post-graduate residency training program in infectious disease and HIV care in Haiti.

Rebecca Jones is a User Support Specialist and possesses over 15 years of user support experience, including 8 years working directly with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Within this tenure, I have dedicated 2 years to NCHHSTP HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention, and 6 years to NHSN National Healthcare Safety Network. My expertise encompasses extensive utilization and training on SAMS (Secure Access Management Service), NHSN Enrollment/Access, and serving as the subject matter expert for FA Reassignments within NHSN.

Hannah Reses is an epidemiologist whose current role is leading the NHSN Vaccination Unit in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Prior to joining NHSN, Hannah served in various other roles at the CDC since 2016 including coordinating studies and responding to outbreaks of waterborne diseases, coordinating healthcare associated infection surveillance in the Emerging Infections Program, and leading COVID-19 hospitalization surveillance during the pandemic. Hannah has over 10 years of experience in public health with expertise in epidemiologic methods, surveillance, and infectious disease epidemiology. Hannah has an MPH in epidemiology and is currently completing a PhD in epidemiology.

David Franklin is a public health analyst with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He works within the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP) Surveillance Branch (SB) on the Long-term care unit. In this role he provides analytic support to the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN), conducting analyses related to COVID-19 and associated hospitalization within skilled nursing facilities.

Emily Wong is a Health Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She is currently the analytic lead of the vaccination unit at NHSN. Emily has 10 years of experience working with of healthcare data in a variety of analytic roles. She has a master’s in public health from Emory University.

Heather Dubrendis is an epidemiologist who has worked as a contractor supporting public health surveillance activities at CDC for 5 years. I have prior experience at state public health departments as an applied epidemiologist. Heather has a Master of Science in public health of University of South Carolina, Arnold School of Public Health.

Sarah Kabbani, MD, MSc is an adult infectious disease physician and the director of the Office of Antibiotic Stewardship, Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion, National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Kabbani attended the American University of Beirut School of Medicine in Lebanon and completed her internal medicine residency at Wayne State University in Michigan. After working as an academic hospitalist for two years at the Beaumont Health System, she joined Emory University in 2011 for her post-doctoral infectious disease fellowship. During her fellowship she completed a Master of Science in Clinical Research and was awarded an NIH T32 training grant in vaccinology. In 2016, she joined the Office of Antibiotic Stewardship, where her areas of concentration include older adult and long-term care antibiotic stewardship.

Katryna Gouin is an epidemiologist in the CDC’s Office of Antibiotic Stewardship in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion. She has been working with the Office of Antibiotic Stewardship for five years, with a focus on tracking antibiotic use in long-term care facilities and translating analytic results into resources for health departments and healthcare professionals. She obtained her Master of Public Health from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health in 2019.

Simi Williams is a Senior Quality Improvement Specialist at Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG), the Medicare Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIOs) for California and Arizona. The QIN-QIO program is the largest federal program dedicated to improving healthcare quality at the community level.Williams holds a Master of Public Health degree with an emphasis in Health Services Administration, a Resident Assessment Coordinator Certificate, and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. Ms. Williams has assisted hundreds of long-term care facilities (LTCFs) with how to gain access to the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN), report and understand facility data, and become compliant with their data reporting. She disseminates important information regarding NHSN reporting requirements and changes that impact California and Arizona LTCFs—through one-on-one technical assistance, development of outreach materials, and leading NHSN technical assistance virtual events.

Letty Lamping 12 years’ experience in working with NHSN both for a large dialysis organization and within the CDC as a subject matter expert. Provide a resource to NHSN dialysis users to answer questions, provide guidance, education, and troubleshooting. Lamping has a master’s degree in public health American Public University.

Austin Woods is a Scientific Data Analyst with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He currently works in the Surveillance Branch in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion on the Dialysis team.  In this role, he provides scientific, analytic, and statistical programming consultation to NHSN surveillance efforts. During his time at the CDC, he has served as a member of the Dialysis team in the Post-acute Care unit and contributed to the development of a variety of analyses and visualizations centered on dialysis facilities nationwide throughout the COVID-19 pandemic that were distributed and available to stakeholders and the public. Furthermore, he has contributed to multiple published articles in this same time on the Dialysis team at the CDC. Austin has over 3 years of experience in public health with expertise in statistical methods, healthcare analytics, and health informatics, in addition to over 8 years of statistical programming experience. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Economics from the University of Georgia.

Dr. Tamara Hoxworth is a Scientific Data Analyst with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She currently works in the Surveillance Branch in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion on the Dialysis team.  In this role, she provides data analytic support to NHSN surveillance efforts. Prior to the CDC, she served as the HAI Facility Surveillance Manager for the state of Colorado from 2010 – 2018. In that role, she provided oversight to statewide surveillance and reporting of HAI and used NHSN’s Analysis & Reports function extensively. Dr. Hoxworth has over 25 years of experience in public health with expertise in epidemiology, surveillance, prevention, program evaluation, data analysis and data validation.

Bria Jarrell is a Public Health Analyst with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She currently works in the Surveillance Branch in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion on the Post Acute Care Team, specifically the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) Dialysis Team.  In her role she conducts data analysis centered on dialysis events, standardized infection ratios, and dialysis data reporting compliance. She also regularly engages with NHSN users through the NHSN Service Now platform answering helpdesk tickets. She graduated with a Master of Public Health from Emory Rollins School of Public Health in 2021. During her time in the program, she developed expertise in program evaluation, data analysis, and principles of community engagement.

Lori Haas has over 10 years of nursing experience in public health and hospital settings. She gained her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in public health from the University of Kansas in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University in 2013.

Jolie Siegel graduated with a BA in biology and psychology from the state university of New York at Geneseo in 2015. She then went on to do her master’s in public health at Emory University. While there, she worked at CDC as a monitoring and evaluation associate and at Emory as a research associate. After graduating, Jolie moved to LA and worked as a public health associate for CDC. She joined Lantana Consulting Group in 2021 and has worked on NHSN as a public health analyst/health educator since then.

John Keenan has a MSPH and PhD-Public Health and Epidemiology research, statistical process, SAS programing and data management. In his current role his focus is on health outcomes research with an emphasis on hemodialysis events for those undergoing hemodialysis in the US.

Iram Qureshi has 7 years expertise in using SAS software and 6 years of experience working alongside multi-disciplinary teams, leading in statistical aspects of research including creating statistical analysis plans, study design, and data collection. She received her MPH degree, with a dual concentration in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the University of North Texas Health Science.

Courtney A. Price is a public health analyst for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN), Long-Term Care Facility Team in the Division of Healthcare Quality and Promotion, Surveillance Branch. In this capacity, she assists with the development and coordination of education and training activities for NHSN users and partners. In addition, she provides technical assistance in health education, instructional design, and training regarding surveillance of Healthcare-Associated Infections using NHSN. Courtney completed her undergraduate degree from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She received a master’s in public health from Rutgers University with a concentration in Dental Public Health.

Monica Walters serves as a Public Health Analyst, Health Education Technical Monitor for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN), Post-Acute Care team in the Division of Healthcare Quality and Promotion, Surveillance Branch. She has 20 years of experience as a Meeting Planner and Project Coordinator, in Marketing Communications, assisting and overseeing the logistics for professional trainings, conventions, events and manages business operational tasks. Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Clark Atlanta University.

Kristi Gillis serves as a Public Health Analyst for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) for the Post-Acute Care team, in the Division of Healthcare Quality and Promotion Surveillance Branch. She provides extensive communication, education, and training to users as it relates to Healthcare Associated Infections using NHSN. Dr. Kara Jacobs Slifka is an infectious diseases physician and medical epidemiologist in the Prevention and Response Branch within CDC’s Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion. In her role at CDC, she leads the long-term care team focused on improving infection prevention and containing and preventing the spread of infectious pathogens in the post-acute and long-term care settings through collaboration with health departments and partners, guidance and educational material development, and outbreak response.

Dr. Heather Jones serves as a nurse consultant with the CDC Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion’s Prevention and Response Branch’s Long-Term Care Team. Dr. Jones began her healthcare career as a registered nurse in acute care and then as a family nurse practitioner working alongside medical directors and staff in nursing homes. In 2020, she received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and began her public health career with the CDC. Dr. Jones has joined as an infection prevention and control subject matter expert for numerous long-term care outbreak responses and has presented at local and national conferences on infection prevention and control measures for healthcare. Dr. Jones is currently leading efforts for better understanding the role of infection preventionists in long-term care settings.

Elizabeth Kalayil is a Public Health Analyst with the Lantana Consulting Group, Inc. and is based in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion at CDC. She provides training and technical assistance to healthcare facilities on reporting vaccination data. Elizabeth earned a Master of Public Health degree in International Health from Emory University.

Molly Stillions, RN, MSN currently serves as the Long-Term Care Deputy Team Lead for the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) Long Term Care component (LTCF) within the Division of Healthcare Quality and Promotion (DHQP), Surveillance Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Molly has been a part of the Long-Term Care (LTC) Team at CDC since 2020 and transitioned into the LTC Deputy role earlier this year. Prior to this role, Molly worked at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as a registered nurse on the Medical and Surgical unit. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Nursing from Augusta University.
